Tubby Blues Club

Bath Road, Cheltenham

www.tubbyblues.co.uk
Phone: 07889 062270

Tubby Blues Club was created to raise money for the Renal Unit of the Gloucester Royal Hospital, by Michael O' Connor, better known as Tubby. He was a patient there, and as an act of gratitude after his discharge, he decided to set up the Tubby Blues Club with the aim of buying new equipment for the Renal Unit. His love of blues music and his desire to help others has enabled this unique Club to grow and prosper to one of the most successful in the UK. Sadly Tubby died on 23rd. February 2007, but his memory lives on in this his club.

HERE

Blues CD Store is supporting the Hill Town Blues CD project by fulfilling online orders on behalf of Pendle Leisure Trust at no cost to them and donating all the CD money. Pendle Leisure Trust will be donating all profits from the CD to Pendleside Hospice.

Pendleside is a registered charity providing for the special needs of people with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. The purpose of a hospice is to improve the quality of life for its patients. This is achieved by medical and specialist nursing care, and the provision of social, emotional and spiritual support for the patient and their family and carers. Care is given unconditionally and free of charge to adults who need it regardless of religious or cultural belief. Hospices are about people helping people. You may never know these people, or their families, but ultimately you will know that it was you who cared enough to help. For further details of the triple CD please click HERE
