Judy and the Blues Dukes at the Sparrow Hawk, Burnley on Sunday 18th April 1.30 – 3.15pm

Opening the session at the Sparrow Hawk on ‘ladies’ day, the Blues Dukes offer a unique blues/jazz sound.

Led by the stunning Judy Margerison, they will perform some classic Blues such as “Corrine, Corrina”, “Careless Love”, “Candy Man” and the rather raunchy “Kitchen Man”.

The voices of Judy and Brendan blend together with some very special harmonies.  Robin shows off his considerable expertise on harmonica, giving the music an authentic blues feel. There is added depth from a strong, swinging bass line and Victoria adds an extra dimension on reeds, with some laid-back solos.

The performance is free, so come on, grab a beer, sit back and enjoy!

The line up:

Judy Margerison Vocals
Brendan Cronin Vocals & guitar
Joey Pikehouse Double bass/bass guitar
Victoria Morris Clarinet/saxophone
Harpman Robin Harmonica
