Headliner, Texan guitarist Jimmie Vaughan and the Tilt-A-Whirl
band with guest singer Lou Ann Barton closed the Saturday.
Jimmie guided the band through a series of Texas blues based
songs playing guitar in his usual understated way during the
numerous solos he took throughout the evening. The set included
Dirty Girl, We’re Gonna Roll, I’m Gonna Love You, Natural Born
Lover, Wheel of Fortune, I Love You (with Jimmie on harp) and
DFW. The much deserved encore included Texas Flood. |
