The Barflies |
|
These powerful Worcester based rock and rollers got Sunday off to a
flying start. Together for ten years their followers from the UK and
abroad gathered to support this gig. They were not disappointed. |

Dr Teeth Big Band |

This Birmingham based swing/big band sound were very reminiscent of King
Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys with an extensive repertoire aimed at
broad appeal - ideal for this Sunday afternoon out (and no rain!). |

The Manfreds featuring Paul
Jones

What an act to close the festival. Paul Jones had everyone eating out of his hands, they hung onto his every word and they loved it! The years don’t seem to have taken any toll, his harp was crisp and his voice well honed from his work with the Blues Band. Mike D’Abo was in fine form as were fellow Blues Band members Tom McGuinness (guitar) and Rob Townsend (drums). Set list:
