Grady Champion

Grady Champion is a young blues singer and harmonica player from Mississippi who has been compared with Sonny Boy Williamson.

"Grady's voice not only made me think of Robert Johnson, but the way he worked the crowd seemed as though Johnson's, or Luther Allison's, fire and raw sense of what the audience needs was being born inside him."  Dave McIntyre, Blues Access magazine.

Mary Lane and the No Static Blues Band
Mary Lane hails from Arkansas where she sang in local juke joints in the company of Howlin' Wolf, James Cotton, Robert Nighthawk and Little Junior Parker. She has lived in Chicago for the last 35 years where she performed with Elmore James, Magic Slim and Otis Rush. She is a favourite of the Chicago West Side blues circuit..... "igniting the call and response between entertainer and audience that usually turns her show into truth-telling sessions about the foibles of men and women and life".
