The objective of The Nottingham Blues Society is to enhance the profile of Blues Music in Nottinghamshire. The intention is to enrol fans of Blues Music to the Society and inform them of what is happening in the county of Nottinghamshire, whether it is blues in Pubs, Clubs, Village Halls, Concert Halls or Festivals. As the Society develops it is hoped they can take the history of Blues Music to local schools and colleges.

The Society have launched the British Blues Awards which has its own dedicated website at http://britishbluesawards.com. The first stage in the awards process gives the public the chance to nominate their favourite performers in each category. Nominations end in April and then the voting begins.  Pop along to the website now and register your nominations.
