USA Dates:

The author set off to the Mississippi Delta `Home of the Blues' on 31st August with blues guitarist brother Rex and myself (Alan White ) for a 10 day book signing tour of Mississippi, Tennessee and Arkansas.

UK Dates:

Sunday, 17th September - 4.00pm - 8.00pm
John O' Gaunt Pub, Market Street, Lancaster which also featured many acoustic blues performers.

A few notes for Lancaster people:

Max has been living in Lancaster for the last 17 years or so and has featured live blues at Max's Blues Club at many pubs all over town. He is currently presenting an Acoustic Blues Session every Sunday from 4.00-7.00pm at the John O' Gaunt Pub, Market Street  - free admission and all are welcome. Also check out Diversity Radio on 107 FM in September for 2-hour programmes, `Get The Blues, Catch A Train An' Ride' introduced by 'Mississippi' Max Haymes playing early blues and gospel music from his large collection (1892-1943).
