Another debut artist for Edinburgh Blues Club. “Corey Harris has earned substantial critical acclaim as one of the few contemporary bluesmen able to channel the raw, direct emotion of acoustic Delta blues”.
Support Band are Coverdale & Fraser Duo from Scottish Borders playing great blues and Americana. Don’t miss this one.

Lightnin’ Willie & The Poor Boys
“Lightnin’ Willie is a veteran bluesman with in excess of twenty years of touring experience. Originally from Dallas Texas he now resides in the Los Angeles area. Willie plays in a traditional blues format with traditional instrumentation i.e. guitar, keyboards, accordion, bass, drums, and horns”. Always guaranteed a great set from this total blues entertainer a real crowd pleaser.
Support Band – Wolftrain are a 6 piece blues band from Perthshire with horns. Their style is authentic blues, rock and roll, swing and some original material.

Back by popular choice at recent Edinburgh Blues Club fan survey. Grainne brings her critically acclaimed band. Grainne Duffy is an upcoming star from Ireland whose debut album received much acclaim including reviews from Guitarist Magazine describing Duffy as “bluesy Americana from Ireland with genuine worldwide potential”.
Support Band- Liz Jones & Broken Windows: New band of old friends and musicians who have come together to make original music from songs by singer and songwriter Liz Jones, fuelled by their blues, rock, jazz and folk backgrounds.
This event will take place at Stramash. Doors open 7pm.

Nine Below Zero
Look out your dancing shoes, this band is back by popular demand after their sell out show in March 2017. Since their formation in 1977 they have developed a reputation as one of the best blues bands in the country. “Superbly executed, highly infectious” – Record Collector.
Support Band- Delacroix Band- This is a rootsy, blues-groove Duo formed by Harry Higgs and Tomlin Leckie, two blues loving musicians in Edinburgh who will perform this show with a full band.
