Last
year Little Devils played over 100 gigs in the UK,
Holland and Belgium (including playing with Matt
Schofield, Alabama 3 & The Pogues amongst others). 2013
was kick started at Broadstairs Blues Bash in February,
with Boogaloo weekender at Alvaston Hall scheduled for
24 March, followed by Barrow R&B Club on 12 April,
Gloucester Blues Festival in July and a host of gigs
lined up in the UK and Europe, including a tour of
Germany in the 2nd half of the year - it’s going to be a
busy year.
Little
Devils have been featured in the August and September
editions of The Blues Magazine and in Blues Matters and
their albums have received rave reviews, praising the
lyrics, music and the extraordinary voice of the
vocalist. In 2011, their song Black Diamond was featured
on the BBC TV programme ‘Look North’. The song recounts
the story of a mining disaster in Easington Colliery
that killed 83 people and commemorates all those who
died including Graeme Wheatley’s grandfather’s brother,
Bob Noble. His grandfather was the only survivor. Graeme
is the main songwriter of the band.
At the
Broadstairs Blue Bash in February, Little Devils
launched a new CD “About Time” featuring six original
new songs. Check out the video Walking Disaster off the
